Hazem Helal is a distinguished business leader with 20+ years of experience in creating & executing commercial strategies across various industries. His career began at Procter & Gamble (2004-2016), where he served as Commercial Director for Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan & Iraq.

In 2018, Hazem transitioned to the real estate sector, joining Mountain View as Commercial Director (2018-2022). Over this 5-year journey, he reshaped go-to-market strategies and sales operations, driving unprecedented growth from 2 Billion EGP in 2018 to over 30 Billion EGP in 2022.

Leveraging his real estate and commercial expertise, Hazem was appointed Vice-Chairman of El Ahly Sports Facilities Company, the real estate arm of the Club of the Century. He currently leads its visionary, first-of-its-kind project, overseeing the mega development to build a new stadium and sports city. 

In parallel, Hazem founded Potentializer in 2023, aiming to enable businesses and organizations to realize their potential through revamping commercial strategies, co-founding and mentoring startups across various sectors.

Hazem is a graduate of Harvard Business School (2024) and the Engineering School at the American University in Cairo (2003). He serves on several boards of public and private companies, is a core member of the Amcham's real estate committee, and is an angel investor to many startups in Egypt.

Hazem is married with two children, Omar and Laila. He enjoys reading, triathlon competitions and playing music. Driven by his passion for chess, he founded the Zayed Chess Club to promote a community who shares the affection of the royal game.
