My name is Amro Shetta. I am a part-time adjunct faculty member at the American University in Cairo (AUC), teaching General Science to undergraduate students. I am also the Chemistry Instructor for the Cosmetics Formulation and Entrepreneurship Diploma, offered by the Engineering and Science Services (ESS) at AUC.

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at AUC specializing in Nanotechnology. With over 10 years of experience as a Senior Research Assistant in nanotechnology, my work focuses on developing advanced nanomaterials for combating cancer and microbial infections. My research contributions have been pivotal in driving innovative solutions and advancements in materials science.

Beyond academia, I am a partner at NanoFib-Tech, a nanotechnology-based startup providing R&D-driven technical solutions across various industries. As the R&D Manager at NanoFib-Tech, I lead efforts to address challenges in cosmetics, water treatment, biodegradable materials, and other high-impact fields through nanotechnology innovations.
