- This badge is awarded upon the completion of an intensive 6 months training course in the area of Analog & RF IC design. This training is conducted by the Center of Nanoelectronics devices at the American University in Cairo in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology. The CAD tools employed include Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, CST, and Suitera, Siemens’s flow (Tanner EDA: S-Edit, L-Edit, W-Edit, Calibre), Questa, and Intel’s Quartus. - The training covers the below 6 courses: 1- Introduction to Digital Design 2- Introduction to Silicon Process & VLSI 3- Introduction to Analog Electronics 4- Advanced Analog Circuit Design 5- Advanced RF Circuit Design 6- Advanced Analog Building Blocks - These modules are delivered by industry experts and top professors from around the world (Intel, Bosch, Nortel, Qualcomm, Siemens...etc.).
